José Antunes Ferreira
Has a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico - Technical University of Lisbon and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, also from IST - Technical University of Lisbon. He is an associate professor at IST and guest professor at Catholic University of Portugal, on both being responsible for various classes. He is also vice-president of CESUR – Centro de Sistemas Urbanos e Regionais, of the Technical University of Lisbon. He is an expert, namely, in project management, having carried out various works pertaining the preparation of calls for tenders and provided advisory services on its execution control. He has also published research in the field of risk management
Rui de Carvalho Oliveira
Has a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico - Technical University of Lisbon, an MSc. in Management Science and Operational Research from University of Warwick (UK) and a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering, from IST. He is an associate professor at IST and investigator at CESUR – Centro de Sistemas Urbanos e Regionais, of the Technical University of Lisbon, being responsible for the R&D area in Operations Research and Systems Engineering. He carried out and oversaw various applied investigation projects in education, transport and production systems, using statistical methodologies and techniques, simulation, optimization and multi-criteria decision analysis. He is the author of a book and dozens of published articles.
Ricardo Ribeiro de Spínola
Has a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico - Technical University of Lisbon, and a MBA from the New University of Lisbon. He was project manager and then head of business area in a subsidiary of Gas de Portugal and later of GALP Energia, both Portuguese energy utilities. He now teaches courses on project management and public procurement on various institutions, being a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) from PMI (Project Management Institute). He is the current manager of CISED Consultores and carries out consultancy projects for various public and private entities
