CISED Consultores has been in this market since 1991, having recently developed and implemented a management support model concerning water meters in the Lisbon region, which included aspects such as consumption analysis, medium accuracy and optimal replacement period for the meters. Other work related to water supply include the development of a method for detecting leaks and water losses in the distribution network.

As for natural gas distribution, CISED audited the design and implementation of natural gas service quality regulations in several national and regional distributors and the application of a quality assessment system, also having updated an information system on the customer-perceived quality and advised cases in litigation. It also participated in the development of qualification procedures for natural gas networks contractors.

Recent services also include the preparation of a procurement manual regarding evaluation models in telecommunications, and the development of a risk management plan and first quarterly monitoring report for a hydro-electric plant construction contract.
